"Pregnant with Cancer, Women Struggle to Heal for Two"

There are many factors that would play into my decision to maintain the pregnancy or terminate it. One factor would be what stage of breast cancer i was in, how far along i was with my baby, whether or not i could get chemo, and the probability my baby would make it with no birth defects. Doctors, my spouse, family, and statistics would influence my decision. Regardless if i chose to maintain the pregnancy or terminate it, there is going to be someone who disagrees with my decision. If that is the case, i would tell that person i respect their opinion and it may be the right choice for them and their family but i would appreciate if they would respect my decision and keep their opinions to themself. As a healthcare professional, if someone made a choice i disagreed with i would make sure they didnt know i disagreed. I would respect their decision and treat them as i would anyone else. The only case in which i would tell them my opinion is if they asked "if i were them what would i do".
